IN-RUT Full Curl™ Lightweight CF Rifle Specs
We guarantee that every Full Curl™ lightweight hunting rifle we produce will shoot 1/2″ MOA at 100 yards in 30 caliber or smaller and 1″ MOA at 100 yards anything over 30 caliber. We shoot every rifle before it leaves our facility. Then we send you a copy of the target shot with your rifle, complete with load data or factory ammunition used. We don’t ship the rifle if it does not meet our accuracy guarantee. Period.

Proof Research Carbon Fiber Barrels
Carbon fiber has long been hailed across many industries—aerospace, cycling, alternative energy—as a wonder material making everything lighter and stronger. When employed in a rifle barrel the benefits extend beyond reducing weight and increasing strength. Our patented manufacturing process begins with full-profile, match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel blanks that are made in our firearms division. These blanks are then turned down to a significantly reduced profile greatly reducing weight.
This reduced contour barrel is then wrapped with high-strength, aerospace-grade carbon fiber impregnated with a proprietary matrix resin developed by our advanced composites division, PROOF Research ACD. The carbon fibers we use have a unique ability to diffuse heat along the length of the barrel (much like fiber optics transmit light).
Carbon fiber also moves heat very effectively through the wall (thickness) of the barrel greatly increasing heat transport resulting in barrels that cool faster, maintain accuracy over longer sessions of fire, and live longer. The end result is an aerospace-grade, high-fiber content composite barrel that is stronger, lighter, as accurate as the finest precision steel barrel, and durable to perform in the most demanding environments. They’re not just lighter—they’re better.

First off, I would like to say “wow” awesome rifle! When I first started looking for a custom rifle I was overwhelmed at the possibilities. I knew I wanted a 6.5 Creedmoor but wasn’t sure from who. One of my best friends and hunting buddies told me about In-Rut Rifles and that he had ordered one in 308 Remington. At the time it hadn’t come in but he said that “those guys were very responsive and knowledgeable. So on his word I called them up. I spoke with Mark and if was as if I’d known him forever. We talked about what I wanted and what I would do with it. I decided on the 6.5 non-typical. I had explained my upcoming trip to Africa and time was of the essence. With that being said they agreed they could make it work in my time frame. Moving forward I got my rifle in plenty of time for my African hunt so I went to the range and it shot perfectly. At 200 yards I was getting 3/4” groups with custom loaded 143 Hornady ELDX. I topped it with a Nightforce scope and it was perfectly balanced. When I got to Africa my PH told me I didn’t have enough rifle but 10 days and 9 animals later I proved him wrong. I’ve since killed several wild hogs at well over 300 yards and whitetails as well. I have 14 various caliber rifles custom and factory but my In-Rut Rifle is by far the most balanced and accurate. Thanks Again Mark and In-Rut
